Pearl Registry

The embossed register of Pearl handles

The register

Every prl-name inscription the configured indexer knows about, resolved to current owners by first-seen consensus: the lowest inscription number wins, transfers only count from the current owner, releases free the handle for re-claim.

The scan walks the indexer's asc-ordered /inscriptions list (100/page, capped above) and is a sample of indexed data — it is only as complete as the indexer you point it at. Ownership = first-seen per that indexer's ordering.

Claim a handle

Three steps: pick a handle, name the owner address, then engrave the claim with a Taproot commit/reveal inscription. Claiming costs real PRL in chain fees. Your key never leaves this page.

Step 1 — choose your handle

1–32 chars, a–z 0–9 -; no leading/trailing/double hyphens. Normalization is lowercase-trim — Satoshi and satoshi are the same handle.

Step 2 — owner address & network

Step 3 — key, fees, commit & reveal

Signing key (page memory only)

Broadcast (double-confirmed, dust-refused)

Standalone reveal-pair verifier

Paste a commit + reveal hex pair (e.g. before broadcasting) — the envelope is parsed the way an indexer would parse it, and the prl-name JSON is schema-validated. Anything off is refused loudly.

Verify a registration

Paste an inscription id. The page fetches the inscription and its content from your configured indexer, schema-validates the prl-name JSON, re-normalizes the handle, and confirms first-seen ownership against a live directory re-scan of that handle. Tampered or losing records are refused loudly, with exact field-level reasons.
